Why Kitsuzen

Things without deadlines deserve time too.

Work comes with a deadline. A book or a new hobby usually doesn't. They still matter to you.

A day at your own pace

Choose what fits into today. A short list helps you focus on what's next and leave your other plans for later.

Room for your own plans

Reading, exercise or a project of your own. Kitsuzen considers these alongside your deadlines when suggesting tasks, helping you find time for them too.

Notice what you've accomplished

A repaired bike, a proposal sent, a Spanish lesson. Look back at what you've accomplished, including the little things that are easy to overlook by the end of the day.

What's inside

From your first thought to a look back at your week.

01 · Now

Find your starting point

Open a short selection of tasks ready for your attention. Kitsuzen considers deadlines, recurring tasks and your priorities for the week. You choose what to take on.

  • Choose how many tasks you see
  • Your other plans stay within reach in ToDo
  • Keep important deadlines in sight

02 · Brain dump

So you don't have to keep it all in your head

A call to the dentist, a gift idea or a plan for the weekend. Type or dictate whatever comes to mind. Come back to organize it when you have the space.

  • Typing and dictation in one place
  • Categories and dates can wait until later
  • With Premium, AI helps turn your notes into organized tasks

03 · Weekly mix

Make room for what matters to you

Choose how much room you'd like to give work, family or hobbies during the week. Kitsuzen takes this into account when suggesting your next tasks, along with what you've already spent time on.

  • Choose how much room each area gets
  • Tasks appear at the times you choose for each area
  • Priorities for the week, flexibility for each day

04 · Balance

See how you've spent your week

Compare your priorities with your completed tasks or tracked time. It's easier to see what's working for you and what you'd like to make more room for next time.

  • A view by completed tasks or tracked time
  • Your priorities alongside a look back at your week
  • Note what energizes you and what leaves you drained

Focus on one thing at a time

Let the timer keep track of work sessions and breaks.

End the day with a clear picture

Look over what you've finished and leave a note about where to pick up next time.

Find your own rhythm

Swimming twice a week, for example. Choose the days that work for you.

Keep what you've learned from your week

Add a note to your weekly overview about what went well, what worked for you and what you'd like to try differently next time.

Czech and English, in the app and on the website.

Who is behind Kitsuzen?

I'm Tomáš, the person behind Kitsuzen. I have a job, a family, hobbies and projects I work on in the evenings. When I get absorbed in something, weeks can pass while everything else takes a back seat. I didn't need another place to write down tasks. I wanted to choose what to do next without forgetting the rest of my life. That's how Kitsuzen came about.

How do I get help?

Use the form on the support page or the contact email listed there. Your message goes directly to Kitsuzen's developer. If you include an email address for a reply, we usually get back to you within a few days. Go to support.
